[ . . It had been following him all day long - though he hadn't complained. The 'it' just so happened to be a Hippogriff. . . and Sirius just so happened to know that upsetting one could be the last thing you ever do. He liked living. . .So he was just going to let it follow him around until it got bored or something to this extent. What weirded him out the most, however, was how familiar with him that it acted. As if it somehow knew him. . .

. . And now that it was closing time. . Time for him to head home. . .and it was still following him down the street towards the apartments, just as happy as a Hippogriff could be. A puppy or kitten following someone home was one thing. . But a Hippogriff was a very different story. A puppy or kitten would be cute, fluffy. . . and generally did not posses talons that could rip a human to shreds. Oh, and there was the size factor.

So you might see Sirius walking down the street, followed by this and seeming rather hesitant to do anything about it. Who could blame him? It was bigger than he was and had some pretty sharp talons there.]

[The hippogriff froze once he noticed you were there, fierce orange eyes focusing on you. And staring. This seemed to make the teenager there a little uncomfortable.]

[The Hippogriff stared for a few more moments. . . before returning the bow and taking a few steps closer to investigate you. . Before taking the end of your scarf and giving it a curious little tug. Not one meant to be harmful in anyway. It's just being curious, okay.]

[Just as a safety precaution, he carefully tried to unwrap the scarf off. Without trying to startle either. That way we can avoid strangling and hey, now you can has a better look at it] Here.. do you want it?

[As the scarf came off, the Hippogriff pawed (or clawed?) at the ground. It paraded around for a moment with the scarf in it's beak, seeming amused at how it billowed in the wind.]

". . I'd say he likes it."

[Sirius chuckled a little, watching the Hippogriff with some amusement.]

[Almost as if he knew what you were thinking, Sirius moved a little closer to whisper as the Hippogriff played with the scarf.]

" .. . I'll nick it back for you later - think if we tried to get it back now he might decide to use those talons of his."

[Buckbeak paused for a moment, to eye the two a moment as if suspicious before trotting back over and nipping at the hood of Sirius' robes.]

" . . . Hopefully Remus'll be okay with him staying. Don't know where he came from."

{Warily Remus bowed in response to Buckbeak and moved towards him a bit. He was pretty sure that this had something to do with your older self but he wasn't about to mention it.}
