[He glanced towards the path coming up from the beach, pawing at the ground. . Then ran to the fountain, where he'd been before. It was his way of showing you as far as he's gone. . . But after a moment, you're going to hear a loud splash as he's now wading around in that fountain. Seemingly with no particular reason. . At least not until he comes bounding out of the fountain, stops right in front of you. . .

. . . and shakes.]

{He's scowling at you before just dropping his spare clothes on you and flicking his wand. They were supposed to bundle you into a knot, but instead it was just a rather nasty tangle. He frowned, thinking that he should practice it a bit more.}

[. . So he's going to intentionally cause a much louder racket than necessary as he squirms him way out of the clothes. . . Takes said clothes into his mouth. . .and dives back into the fountain with them. Now you've got nothing dry to change into. Good job.]

[He peers out at you from the fountain and just shakes his head before bouncing around in the water some more.]

[There's a faint hint of cigarette smoke in the air. . .and the source of it becomes obvious after a few minutes. A well-dressed man in his 20's strolling towards you, a cigarette held loosely between his lips. He's going to eye you and the dog a moment, before speaking up.]

[. . . There's a flaming feline staring at Sirius oddly, leaping down from the man's shoulder to come right up and investigate.]

[He took a drag of his cigarette.]

" . . . Nothing as complex as that. Basically we just go on our own way. There's no government of any type, unless you count Azaria and Thalassa - the two mermaid sisters that rule the island. Even so, they usually don't so much tell us what to do. Thalassa tends to be responsible for making life hell though."

[He frowned a little at that.]
