[There appears to be a new shop in town, an interesting variety of things visible through the store's glass window front. The most of notable seemed to be a group of strange black creatures - they seemed to be fighting over a small silver bell in an almost vicious manner. . . But you could also see aquariums of fish, spiders, lizards and various other small creatures as well as a litter of small long haired kittens of varying coloration and markings that seemed to be contented to play with the different cat toys in their displays.

As if he'd just noticed their destructive behavior, the dark haired teenager that had previously been at the counter came into view through the window, wand in hand as he decided that he should likely try to sort out the dark creatures. According to the signage nearby, they were called 'Nifflers' and there was a description basically stating that they were creatures often used by goblins to search for treasure, liked shiny things and warning the customer to remove all shimmery or metallic objects before handling them. Oh, and of course, a disclaimer.

'ATTENTION: Purchase at your own risk! Sirius Black and Padfoot's Pet Palace is not to be held accountable for any damage caused to personal property, houseguests, fingers, or. . . any kind of damage in general caused by these little buggers. You've been warned.']

"OI OI!! CUT THAT OUT!! . . . PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!"

[. . He had clearly obtained his wand at some point. . .and the poor Nifflers that happened to be the targets of the spell stopped moving entirely as Sirius reached in to take the little bell to toss it to the kittens. He had no idea how part of their toy had gotten in there. . .]

[Chrome blinks at that, a brief look of surprise before it shifts back to a smile.]

So he was yours? Thank you very much.

"Sort of. Padfoot doesn't really belong to much of anyone. He just kind of goes as he pleases. Normally he's around with me or my friends though - you might see him with Remus quite a bit too."
