[Just about everyone on the island just may have noticed a little card was slipped under their doors - they were black and orange, and the lettering was silver that seemed to have a little magical sparkle to it. This little card was an invitation to what appeared to be a Halloween Beach Party, hosted by Sirius Black on the night of October 31st. In fact, Sirius was quite proud of this little party he had set up - he felt like the island could use a little bit of fun. Oh, and costumes were highly encouraged.

Concerning costumes, this was why he was looking for Remus. Because naturally he had a bloody brilliant idea.]

"Moony, mate~~? You hooome~~?"

"What are you on about? My hair has been about the same length for a long time now."

No. [He remembers very distinctly puling it. He kind of wishes he pulled harder.] It was long. Longer than I've ever seen it, really.

[Head tilt, eyes squinting.]

You look younger too.

[He'll just flop back into bed. You couldn't have taken a de-aging potion, could you?]

[He's going to be looking at you a little while, trying to figure out if you're just messing around with him. He really has no idea what the hell you're talking about.]

". . . You're acting more like an idiot than usual. Did you hit your head on something?"

I'd welcome a hit on the head, actually. [He snorts, tugging on his own hair and scrunching his eyes close.] But, no. Unfortunately, it was drinking poison, almost being strangled by Inferni, and almost drowning to death.

[He'll... just. Yawn. And curl up and conclude that this is some weird after effect of the poison. The Sirius from earlier will be coming back soon. You're just the annoying voice at the back of his head.]

Wake me when the older Sirius with the longer hair comes back.

[ . . .Yes. He knows he just insulted himself as well as his family. He doesn't care. You'll probably notice the distaste in his tone as well.]

[Rather than the pride that is usually in his voice when declaring his heritage, his tone now seems rather dull. Oh, he believes still in the gifts he inherited from their ancestors as well as their traditions. Just... not as extremely as the others and especially their mother Walburga would have.]
